Tiana Johnson has been an Olympic Weightlifter for two years. She competes in the 75kg weight category. In August of 2013, Tiana attended a weightlifting camp with the East Coast Gold Weightlifting Team. She had never heard of Olympic Weightlifting, except what she was told at her local crossfit classes. After a grueling week of intense training sessions at camp Tiana decided that she wanted to focus her attention on Olympic Weightlifting full time. In October of 2013, Tiana qualified for the American Open in the 75kg+ weight category, she has won and medaled in several weightlifting, crossfit and strongwoman competitions and has been an athlete all of her life. She finished 5th overall at the 2014 National Weightlifting Championship in her weight class of 75kg and is the current Pennsylvania State record holder in the Snatch, Clean & Jerk and total in both the 75kg and 75kg+ categories.
