Those who are not involved in sport at the top level will never quite understand what it takes to make it to the top, and then to stay there.
To have great mental resilience means that you must be able to resist the urge to give up when things get tough and not to let the adversities affect you emotionally. Many psychologists say that everyone can benefit from mental resilience training in some way.
